What Medications Are Included?

The 90DayMyWay program applies only to “maintenance medications” as defined by Capital Blue Cross. These are prescription drugs typically used to treat chronic or long-term health conditions.

This program does not apply to:

• Medications used for short-term or

  acute illnesses and infections

• Most specialty medications (often

  injectable), which are generally not

  eligible for 90-day fills

Use the maintenance list for a full list of applicable medications.

What This Means for Members

• Currently Using 90-Day Fills: Members already filling maintenance medications through a 90-day channel —either via Express Scripts mail order or a participating retail pharmacy—may continue to do so.
  

• Currently Using

  30-Day Fills:

  Members filling

  maintenance medications

  in 30-day supplies will

  receive a letter from

  Capital Blue Cross with

  next steps.

  • Members will be

    allowed two (2)

    transitional 30-day

    fills

  • After that,

    prescriptions must

    be filled through

    a 90-day supply

    option
